The whole thing, plainly.
Calora covers 15 Fairfield County ZIPs. Homeowners get a free heat-loss report. One contractor per ZIP pays $99 once for the exclusive right to every lead in it. That is the business, in two sentences.
What do I get, exactly?
A heat-loss report for your house: which part of it loses the most heat, roughly what that part costs you a year, and the two next worst. It appears on screen and a copy goes to your email. It is free and there is no obligation.
How are the numbers worked out?
From the three answers you give — year built, heating fuel, square footage — against the way houses of that era in Fairfield County are built, and the current price of heating oil. They are estimates and we say so on the report. We round every figure down, never up. A thermal scan of the house measures the real numbers.
Does anyone come to my house?
Not from Calora. One local contractor covers your ZIP; we pass them your report and they call you. Their opening move is a free thermal scan — an infrared camera walk-through of the house. That visit is theirs, not ours, and you can say no.
What does it cost me?
Nothing, at any point. Calora is paid by the contractor who holds your ZIP, once, and never takes money from a homeowner or handles money between you and the contractor.
What happens to my details?
Your name, email and phone go to the one contractor who holds your ZIP. Nobody else. We do not sell your details on, and we never sell the same homeowner to several contractors — that is the whole point of the model.
What if no contractor covers my ZIP?
You still get the full report and nobody calls you. We email you the day someone covers your ZIP. We will not invent a booking.
